Nautical Mile Resort - Managed by Capital Vacations

Nice little resort. The rooms and all facilities were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful when we had a minor key card issue. Check in and check out were very easy.

We stayed here to run the Maine Coast marathon and it was perfect. It was nicely located near all the race parking areas and within walking (or waddling post marathon) distance of restaurants, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the rooms had everything we needed and more. If we run this race again, we will definitely be staying back at the Nautical Mile

Great location with the donut shop next door and the food trucks for dinner. Our 1 bed unit was clean and modern. Pleasant front desk staff.

Unfortunately we could only stay a couple of nights. We booked a small one bedroom unit on the 2nd floor. It had everything we needed. The queen or full bed was comfortable, sofa bed in kitchen/living room area. Apartment sized stove, full fridge, small microwave, dishwasher, tv in kitchen, good assortment of stainless steel pains and dishes, limited counter space in kitchen and bathroom, tub/shower, plenty of hot water and heat worked well. Stairs and decking both looked like new. Small deck off slider from bedroom, bureau, small closet, TV in bedroom, no safe, AC up on wall has remote. Windows open, including one in storm door, which is good when cooking makes unit too hot. Locks work well, key card access with tap. Small kitchen table, 4 padded kitchen chairs. Adequate lighting and outlets. We had a view of the outside pool from deck.

Me and my boyfriend have personally stayed at the nautical mile in wells quite a few times over the last year. the outside equipment is so lovely the hot tub, pool, grills, and the courts were definitely a fun entertainment experience. From most of the rooms you can see the lovely ocean view and sunsets and rises. Also right next door there are food trucks, a donut shop and car shows weekly in the summer. We love how the rooms have full bathrooms with jacuzzi’s and then a full kitchen and living room it’s great to have more privacy than a regular hotel room. They also have different sized rooms, some one floor some even three floors it just depends on how much room your family needs ! If you get the chance to come to wells or the surrounding towns be sure to get your room at the nautical mile because it’s perfect for everyone’s needs.

A nice cozy little corner here south of Portland. All the major things you want to visit in this part of Maine are not too far away, maybe about 30 minutes for each major attraction. The staff in the hotel is very friendly and attentive.

The Nautical Mile is the epitome of a 5 star resort. The service all around was fantastic thanks to the staff’s hospitality and professionalism and I would gladly recommend this resort to anybody interested on taking a vacation local to Wells, ME. The staff here pride themselves on giving their customers the very best service possible and from first hand experience, I can assure anyone that they delivered. Overall, this resort is the ultimate destination for travelers and is well deserving of 5 gold stars!

Stayed here for a short off-season getaway. The room was clean and quaint, with a very convenient kitchenette supplied with the basic necessities. Perfect location right near the beach to catch early morning sunrises, restaurants and stores.
